Gervasi Vineyard is one of those spots you just can’t go wrong with for an engagement session. The vineyard is beautiful. The pond is beautiful. The willows trees are beautiful. And there’s so much more to it the more you walk around! I love how versatile the venue is and how many GORGEOUS options there are for photos.

Kayla and Ivan are two of the sweetest and most joyful people. I loved every minute with them during their Gervasi Vineyard engagement session! Kayla’s smile seriously just lights up a room, and Ivan just adores her so much. It’s the sweetest thing to witness! I love how engagement sessions really help me get to know my couples, and it just gives us a chance to have some fun before the big day! Another neat thing about doing an engagement session is you get to have memories of your engagement season. You date for a little while, you’re married for the rest of your lives, but your engagement season is so finite and it flies by! I love that engagement photos are a way to capture that season.

I know I’ve already mentioned but it deserves another mention: the WILLOW TREE! I’m always so excited whenever I find a willow tree at a spot I’m shooting at. And let me tell you, there’s no shortage of willow trees here!

So there’s this bridge that I feel like trademarks the Gervasi vineyard engagement session, and there’s a good reason for that! The stonework gets me every time, the gorgeous arch, and YES, another willow tree! (can you tell I’m kind of obsessed with willow trees lol)

There’s something about black and white images that get me every time, so I’m always sure to throw in a few of those. Kayla and Ivan are both SO full of joy, and honestly they didn’t need a whole lot of prompting. They were just so happy to be with each other. And that’s one of my absolute favorite things to witness! It’s an honor to be the one to capture such special, sweet little moments.
