After my first year of business, my accountant laughed and asked me if I was running a 'real business' after generating around $5,000 in sales. I was working about 70-80 hour weeks between my corporate HR job and building my business.
One year later, I increased that revenue over 10x. And one year after that, I was able to more than replace my corporate salary, set myself up for success in slower months, and go full time in my business.
