Meet Ashley from Ashley’s Extensions!
Ashley knocked her Cleveland branding session out of the park at Suite 226! She’s a hair artist who wants women to feel confident and beautiful. So she’s traveled all over the world to learn exactly how! She specializes in invisible bead extensions, bridal hair, and so much more!
She reached out to me about a Cleveland branding session and we got to work defining her brand and how to showcase that in her photos. Ashley loves West Coast style, fashion, and wanted clean, fun images to represent that. She’s also one of the sweetest people, so I really wanted her joy and smile to really shine through her photos!
For all of my branding clients, I create a customized mood board, color palette, and overall vision so we go into our brand session with strategy. Next, we plan outfits, a shot list, a prop list, and finally a checklist to make sure everything is covered. I love that no two mood boards are ever the same!
I think it’s important to have photos that capture what your everyday might look like – not just pretty headshots! Even if it’s just hanging out in jeans and a sweatshirt on your computer, it’s so important that your photos really capture who you are as a person!
I love how Ashley’s joy and kindness just shines through in her photos. That’s really my goal with branding photos, to help you and be a guide that helps tell your story through images. You’ve got the personality and the message you want to share with the world. And I’m just here to help you put your best foot forward and share who you are and what you do!

Another thing I’m always sure to plan for is curated flat lays and ‘stock photos’ specific to you and your brand! Products are also great at helping share your story and tell people what you do and how you can help them. I had so much fun putting these together for Ashley!
Let’s talk branding session props!
And of course, we had to do some fun photos of what she does and the products she uses! Ashley loves the Dyson hair dryer and feels like her clients love it too. So I made sure to tell that story in a fun way! I love that branding sessions are a chance to get creative and have fun. Sure, we don’t sit on a sofa full of florals every day, but for your branding session, we definitely can!
