Highfields Event Center Wedding

Natalie and Sam Spicer tied the knot at the gorgeous Highfields Event Center in Hudson, OH right at the beginning of Fall. Oh my word, their day could not have been any more beautiful! The weather was gorgeous, their venue was stunning, and each detail had so much intention behind it. But truly, the love these two share is truly something so special. I felt really blessed to get to be the one capturing their memories. Throughout the entire evening, I could so clearly see how happy they were to be getting married. They exchanged so many sweet looks and precious moments, I could hardly handle it. When I was editing their images, I honestly felt all of those happy feelings all over again, and I truly hope they felt the same way!

Before the big day…

I asked Sam before the wedding what Natalie’s favorite Starbucks drink is so I could surprise her with it, and he told me he was already getting her that drink. So I asked him all of her other favorites: snack, food, other drink, and of course, he just goes, “sorry, I am actually already planning on getting her all of those things and they’ll be waiting in her dressing room!” Ok, how sweet is that! Sure it left me with less options haha but I mean really, how sweet is that!

The Venue

Highfields Event Center has this gorgeous pond at the back of the property, and it really is such a beautiful spot for photos! I got so excited when I first got to the venue at the beginning of the day and started scouting photo spots. I couldn’t believe how many options there were! You really don’t need to leave the venue at all for beautiful photo ops!

I am a huge sucker for some gorgeous exposed beams, and Highfields Event Center has plenty of them. I wish I had gotten married here honestly! This moment right here is one of my absolute favorites between Sam and Natalie. Their first dance was so special. It was like they were in their own little world together! Every moment told their story and I was honored to be the one to capture it.
