Haley and Michael’s Cleveland Yachting Club wedding in October was nothing short of an absolute dream. If you’ve ever met them, then you know just how joyful and kind they are. And their wedding day from beginning to end was so full of joy. The Cleveland Yachting Club was the perfect venue for their nautical, classic, and elegant wedding.
They chose a beautiful blue and white color scheme (if you know me then you know how much I swoon over all things blue and white), with pops of blush. So basically, my absolute favorite color scheme! If I had to describe Haley in two words, they would be these two: joyful and kind. She lights up a room and is such a joy to be around. I love how the details she chose truly reflected that!
We started the day at the Westin in downtown Cleveland, and it was the perfect place to start the day! We did the father-daughter first look there and it was so precious. I’m also obsessed with these floor to ceiling windows and I couldn’t help but snap a few bridals here!
Following their beautiful ceremony at St Christopher’s Parish in Rocky River, we headed downtown to start the bridal party photos. And, can I just say, this group was SUCH a blast! They had me laughing pretty much the entire time. They were so fun, full of energy, and just happy to celebrate their friends.
Haley’s smile says it all but like I said earlier, she’s a true joy to be around. I think anyone who has talked to her for 5 seconds can tell how joyful and kind she truly is! I absolutely LOVE the bridesmaid dresses from Show me Your Mumu bridal. Also, these florals, I mean, I am absolutely in love with this color palette like I said earlier *insert heart eyes*
Cleveland Yachting Club Wedding Details
I remember seeing the venue at our walkthrough, but oh my word, seeing the room transformed into their dream reception was such a sweet thing to witness. I think Haley’s expression says it all! I am a huge sucker for all things white and blue (hey, ginger jars I can’t stop collecting!). So I was absolutely *swooning* over these details. The sea glass place cards, the lush greenery, and the sailboat welcome sign were some of my favorites!
Haley and Mike were such good sports about having their photos taken, which I was so appreciative of because they’re just so sweet to photograph! They’re too cute in front of the camera which makes my photographer heart oh so happy. The Cleveland Yachting Club has such a beautiful nautical backdrop, which was so perfect for their theme!
All in all, their day was absolutely perfect. I was truly honored to get to capture their beautiful story and work with such an incredible vendor team!
