Weddings at Highfields Event Center are by far some of my favorite. I love the gorgeous garden area, the lawn and patio for ceremonies, the modern farmhouse feel of the interior, the floor to ceiling windows, and so much more. So that’s why I was so excited when we chose Highfields Event Center for our summer styled shoot! The weather was absolutely perfect and it got us all so excited for the beginning of Summer. The orange, pink, and yellow color scheme was perfectly fitting for Summer, and we were so thrilled to kick off wedding season right!
One thing I love about this venue is that there is so much variety. It’s absolutely beautiful, and there are so many beautiful spots for portraits. Not to mention the lighting is amazing, and I can always find flattering lighting with beautiful background (which is a huge bonus for beautiful portraits).
The florals, cake, and my personal favorite, the orange slices all came together so beautifully.
I love how this citrus themed cake from Cakes by Christina and the backdrop from Mere et Terre Atelier came together. So perfect for a Summer wedding!
Even at 12 noon when the lighting was the harshest, the beautiful lawn area did not disappoint for a ceremony setup. I love how versatile this area can be! You can have traditional lawn chairs for a more casual garden feel, or opt for acrylic chiviari chairs like we did!
We were so excited about this color palette for a Summer wedding feel. The orange, pinks, and yellows came together so beautifully! One of my favorite parts of Highfields Event Center is how the venue flows. The space is so versatile and it’s always so fun to see how different couples utilize the space! We used the indoor space for our head table setup, the front lawn for the ceremony, and I loved the patio area for portraits! The orange sofa from Lavender and Lace tied our citrus theme together perfectly.
The garden area at the back of the property is hands down another favorite spot at Highfields Event Center for me. There is a gorgeous pond, a beautiful walkway, and pretty blooms in the Spring and Summer!
